Capabilities

Our customers need a wide range of computer knitting capabilities to meet their seasonal design requirements, from the finest gossamer type knit to heavy 'handknit' look effects.

We have invested in knitting technology that spans the finest 18 gauge knits down to the coarse 3 gauge knits. This allows our customers to explore many different knit weights and design possibilities. What is critical for our customers is that the whole process flows.

Unlike other companies in other regions, Ethical Knitwear does NOT outsource any of its production. Our customers need to be confident that their brand is not put at risk by un-certified subcontractors or sweatshops.

All design, sampling and production is undertaken within our Sri Lanka facility. Trust is a critical part of ethical manufacturing, and this is something our customers can rely on with Ethical Knitwear Co.

The Production Process should naturally flow from the early conceptual stage through to the final production of knitted garments. Ethical Knitwear has invested in its employees to be great communicators with clients and ensure that every detail is attended to avoid delays to the Process.

As more companies realise that their 'fast fashion' strategies have resulted in landfills of unwanted garments, they are looking at the total impact of their garments on the environment - from durability to lifetime wear along with impacts of packaging. With our quick response flexible manufacturing process, we are are to help customers reduce stock holdings by breaking the cycle of long leadtimes.
