Our philosophy is that there are many facets to ethical production. Many people seem to focus only on one aspect of ethical manufacturing - either raw materials or people. Ethical manufacturing can very easily get caught up in agendas or public relations strategies. True Ethical manufacturing must address not only raw materials but even more importantly -People.

When companies see ethical processes as just another 'fad', then all sorts of tricks are played to 'greenwash' their production whilst continuing with bad practices.

For this reason, Ethical Knitwear has been able to bring integrity to our customer's supply chain with transparent operations that can be readily inspected and verified. Disposable fashion has become a reality, an idea our great grandparents would believe impossible because a wardrobe consisted of only a few garments that were repeatedly worn.
